So, the holiday season is officially upon us and we know what that means?  Lots of holiday parties with lots of wine to drink.  Wine is one of the things I miss the most after becoming pregnant.  Well, I am almost 8 months pregnant and boy do I miss my glass of vino.  Not only do I miss it for the taste, but it actually makes me feel calm, patient, relaxed, and giddy all at the same time.  With me being as health conscious as I am I try to pay attention to what wine I am drinking.  The reason I do this is because not all wines are created equal when it comes to the carbs.

I've been in contact with a great website that offers TONS of info. on wine.  One of their articles really got me thinking about the carbs and how much there actually are in each glass.  So, the short answer according to this article is yes, there is carbs in wine.  Believe it or not, some wine actually has no carbs in it.  If you are as curious as I was about what wines are lower in carbs than others you must visit this site to learn which are the best for you. https://www.ilovewine.com/carbs-in-wine/

    Do the grapes have carbs

I have learned that the grapes also have carbs in them.  As they are fermented the carbs start to disappear because of the yeast and what's left over, however, becomes the carbs in wine.  So, if you are trying to get healthy, but you like to drink the occasional glass of wine then you must check this site out for all the helpful tips to keep you drinking healthy throughout the holiday season https://www.ilovewine.com/carbs-in-wine/
