Healthy Chicken Nuggets

  • 1 lb. Perdue chicken trim fat and cut into nugget pieces
  • 1 egg whisked
  • ½ cup panko
  • ½ tsp. garlic powder
  • 1 tsp. himalayan salt
  • 1 tsp. ground black pepper
  • ½ tsp. onion powder
  • ½ tbsp. adobo seasoning
  • ¼ cup grated parmesan cheese
  • coconut cooking spray


  • Preheat oven to 375 degree farenheit.  Line a baking sheet with a cooling rack and spray with coconut cooking spray.  Set aside.
  • In a shallow bowl mix together panko, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, adobo, and cheese.
  • In a separate small bowl, whisk the egg.
  • Use a cutting board to trim the fat from the chicken and cut into nugget sizes, about 2 inches by 2 inches.  
  • Dip the chicken into the egg, then the panko mix, then the prepared baking sheet.
  • Continue until all pieces are on the pan.  Bake for 25 min.
