Taco Naan Pizza
A combination of your 2 favorite dinners!
medium non-stick skillet
pizza pan with holes
can of pinto beans
ground black pepper
whole wheat naan bread
plain greek yogurt
fresh lime juice
fresh shredded romaine lettuce and cilantro
shredded Mexican cheese blend
Preheat oven to 400°. Heat a medium sized non-stick skillet to medium low heat. Cook until cooked through and meat is broken up and no longer pink, about 10 minutes. Drain and put back in the skillet.
Add pinto beans, chili powder, cumin, oregano, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and ¼ cup water. Mix well to combine.
Mix in salsa and remove skillet from heat.
Lay your naan bread on your pizza pan then top with ground turkey mix, then romaine lettuce and cilantro combo and cheese on top.
In a small bowl mix plain greek yogurt and lime juice. Drizzle on top of cheese. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes.
Remove from oven and cut into fourths.
Have your kids mix the plain greek yogurt and the lime juice. Have them help place the romaine lettuce, cilantro, and cheese on top of the pizza.
