Healthy Flourless Brownies

These flourless brownies are super chewy and very chocolatey! Perfect for that sweet-tooth craving!

Equipment

  • blender
  • 8 x 8 inch baking pan

Ingredients

  • 1 15 oz can chickpeas drained
  • 3 large eggs
  • cup ghee or unsalted butter
  • ¼ cup cocoa powder
  • tsp kosher salt
  • 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • ½ cup pure maple syrup
  • ½ cup semi-sweet dark chocolate chips
  • ¼ cup chopped walnuts

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350° and grease an 8 x 8 inch baking pan. Set aside.
  • Then in a blender place beans, eggs, ghee (or butter), cocoa powder, salt, vanilla extract, and maple syrup. Blend until smooth.
  • Pour batter into the prepared baking pan and top with chocolate chips and walnuts.
  • Bake for 30 min. Remove from oven and let cool completely. Cut into 9 squares or 18 bites.

How can my kids help?  They can help pour everything into the blender and sprinkle the chocolate chips and walnuts on top.
