¼tspground black pepperchopped into bite sized pieces

2tbspunsalted buttersoftened
3tbsp avocado oil or olive oil
2tbspavocado mayo or regular mayo
8slices of your favorite bread
8slicesAmerican cheese
Instructions
Step 1 - Preheat oven to 400°. Chop your broccoli into bite-sized pieces
Step 2 - In a large bowl, combine your broccoli, oil, salt and pepper. Stir to combine and place on a sheet pan. Roast for 8 to 10 minutes.
Step 3 - Then, spread the softened butter on the outside of your bread and the mayo on the inside of your bread. Lay the cheese on top of the mayo and then spread the broccoli on top of the cheese and top with another piece of cheese so the broccoli lays between 2 pieces of cheese. Top the second piece of cheese with the other piece of bread, keeping the butter side on the outside.
Step 4 - Heat a flat pan or skillet to medium-low heat. Place each grilled cheese on the pan and cook until the butter has crisped the bread and the cheese has melted; about 5 minutes per side.
