Greek Chicken Meatballs with Homemade Tzatziki Sauce
These Greek-Style Chicken Meatballs are Super flavorful! The aroma of the fresh herbs will fill up your whole house. The Tzatziki sauce is also made using plain Greek yogurt and the two together are an insanely delicious combo! The best part is they are made with all clean ingredients and are done in under 30 minutes.
½cupfresh dillminced and divided into the sauce and meatballs
¼cupfresh mintchopped
¼cupred oniondiced
6clovesminded garlicdivided
½lemonjuiced and zested
1tbspolive oil
1½cupsplain Greek yogurt
½cupseedless English cucumbergrated and squeezed in a kitchen towel to remove excess water

Instructions
For the meatballs - Step 1 - Preheat oven to 400 degrees and line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside. Add the ground chicken, salt, pepper, cumin, oregano, ¼ dill, mint, red onion, minced garlic, and lemon zest in a large mixing bowl. Mix well to combine.
Step 2 - Scoop out spoonfuls of the chicken mixture and roll them into a ball using clean hands. Place the chicken meatballs on the prepared baking sheet. Continue until all the chicken mix has been used. Cook for 25 - 30 minutes.
For the sauce -Step 3 - Meanwhile, in a small mixing bowl add Greek yogurt, 2 cloves minced garlic, ¼ cup minced dill, the juice from half a lemon, 1 tbsp olive oil, salt and pepper. Mix well to combine.
Step 4 - Serving suggestions - plate the chopped romaine lettuce and top with the baked Greek meatballs, sliced cherry tomatoes, crumbled feta cheese, kalamata olives, sliced English cucumbers, and homemade Tzatziki sauce.
