These breakfast jars idea is an omelette lovers dream!  I am an omelette lover and during my busy mornings when I just couldn't find the time to make one this was my answer.  Homemade omelette in a jar is perfect for those mornings when you are running around trying to  make it out the door in time.

This omelette in a jar cooks in 2 and a half minutes.  All you do is all your ingredients to a jar with a lid. I have a ton of mason jars.  Add your ingredients to the jar and store in fridge.  When you're ready to eat one all you do is remove it from the fridge and shake it up then toss it in the microwave for 2 minutes and 30 seconds.  Take it out of the fridge, grab a fork and head for the door.  Omelette on the go!

Ingredients for breakfast in a jar

So, I've added some of my favorite omelette in a jar recipes for you to try.  The recipe at the bottom is for my greek omelette with feta, olives, and spinach.  Here are some options of mason jars to use for breakfast in a jar.

    How to make breakfast jars

SO EASY!  Choose your omelette recipe of choice.  Add everything to a jar with a lid.  I've a sucker for a good mason jar.  Store them in your fridge for when you're ready to eat.

Once it's breakfast time, remove your pre-made jar from the fridge and give it a good shake.  Microwave for 2 minutes and 30 seconds.  Remove from microwave, grab your fork and head on out with breakfast in tow.
