- chicken breast - boneless and skinless with the fat trimmed off.
- cream cheese - use a block and avoid using spreadable or whipped, as the lower fat content can cause it to separate and become greasy.
- ranch dressing - I prefer using a standard ranch dressing from a bottle because it adds to the creaminess of the dip, but you can also use a ranch seasoning pouch which will add a more savory punch.
- buffalo sauce - I prefer Frank's buffalo sauce, but you can use any buffalo sauce of your choice.
- cheddar cheese - shredded sharp cheddar.
