Ingredients for easy buffalo chicken dip

Below are the ingredients needed for this 5-ingredient buffalo chicken dip.

The ingredients needed to make this appetizer with labels included.
    • chicken breast - boneless and skinless with the fat trimmed off.
    • cream cheese - use a block and avoid using spreadable or whipped, as the lower fat content can cause it to separate and become greasy.
    • ranch dressing - I prefer using a standard ranch dressing from a bottle because it adds to the creaminess of the dip, but you can also use a ranch seasoning pouch which will add a more savory punch.
    • buffalo sauce - I prefer Frank's buffalo sauce, but you can use any buffalo sauce of your choice.
    • cheddar cheese - shredded sharp cheddar.

How to make slow-cooker buffalo chicken dip

Step 1 - Add all ingredients to your crockpot. Set on high for 3 hours.

Step 2 - Once the chicken is cooked through, shred it using 2 forks, voila! Now devour!

Steps 1 and 2 of the cooking process to make this recipe.

    Substitutions and Variations

Buffalo Chicken Mac and Cheese - stir into cooked macaroni.

Keto Buffalo Chicken Dip - Serve with veggies or pork rinds.

Extra Cheesy - Add mozzarella and Monterey Jack cheese.
