Homemade strawberry vinaigrette dressing is one of my favorites to make. This dressing is perfect paired over a leafy green salad, some grilled chicken, quinoa bowls, or even as a dip for veggies or fresh fruit.

This dressing is naturally sweetened, dairy-free, gluten-free, and can be made with fresh or frozen strawberries. Whether you're meal prepping or making a quick weeknight salad, this dressing is a light, fruity addition to your table.

If you're looking for some delicious recipes to serve it with, you should try my Baked Pear and Gorgonzola Salad with Candied Pecans or as a dip for my Easy Crispy Panko Chicken!

An image of the ingredients needed to make this dressing with labels included.
    • pure honey - adding honey offers a more complex flavor, is a natural sweetener, and provides added nutritional benefits.
    • balsamic vinegar - provides a unique balance of sweetness and rich, complex flavor that complements the strawberries' fruitiness.
    • olive oil - helps the flavor by adding a smooth texture to balance the tartness of the strawberries and vinegar.
    • apple cider vinegar - added for its sweet and tangy flavor.
    • strawberries - you can use frozen or fresh strawberries when making this delicious dressing.

    Directions to make strawberry dressing

Step two - Pour into a serving dish or store in an airtight container for 5 - 7 days.

Steps one and two of the cooking process to make this healthy salad dressing.

I've linked the blender I have and have had for 5 years, and I don't have any complaints. I use the Ninja Blender!

    Substitutions and Variations

If you happen not to have all ingredients on hand, here are some easy swaps you can use in place.

Pure Honey - you can also use pure maple syrup the same way you would use the honey.

Olive Oil - if you don't happen to have olive oil on you, feel free to use another neutral oil whose flavor won't overpower the strawberries. You could use canola oil or avocado oil.
