Homemade strawberry vinaigrette dressing is one of my favorites to make. So, this delicious treat came to me when I was asked to make a salad for Thanksgiving. Was not too sure what type of salad I wanted to make, but I had a craving for strawberries. I had just recently bought a ton of them too so it was the perfect ingredient to work with 😉 It actually took me a couple tries to get the dressing to taste the way I had imagined it would taste. I even dumped out a couple batches that I just could not salvage. The finishing product tastes perfect to me though.
The salad I created to eat with the dressing has strawberries in it, as well! You can really use any salad you wish, but I felt it was only right to continue with the ingredient of strawberries. I also used spinach, feta cheese, and my all time favorite thing to get from Trader Joes, candied walnuts or candied pecans. I will actually drive all the way to Trader Joes specifically for these candied nuts.
These candied nuts are pretty clean, as well. The only ingredients they use to make them are the nuts, sugar, canola oil, and salt. The serving size is a ¼ cup too, and I believe that is definitely a decent amount to add into a personal salad. A serving size is also only 200 calories. I am telling all of you that you MUST go to Trader Joe's to buy these candied nuts. They are also sold at Walmart, as well! Or, just click here for purchase. Trader Joe's Candied Walnuts! or Trader Joe's Candied Pecans!
